Absolutely. As a general dentist office, we enjoy creating beautiful, healthy smiles using our preventative, restorative, prosthetic, and cosmetic dental services and treatments for patients of all ages. If we find that your child, or you for that matter, would benefit from seeing a pedodontist or specialist, we’ll refer you to a trusted colleague.
Cosmetic dentistry focuses on improving the appearance of your smile, including procedures such as teeth whitening, veneers, and dental bonding. While it is not a formally recognized specialty by the American Dental Association, many general dentists offer cosmetic services. When choosing a cosmetic dentist, look at their before-and-after photos, inquire about their training in cosmetic procedures, and ensure you feel comfortable and confident in their care. This will help you achieve the best results tailored to your needs.
An appointment. Your smile and your goals are unique. We offer a wide range of cosmetic services, and after your consultation, you’ll know which services will deliver the smile of your dreams.
Dental Insurance is diverse. Some policies cover only a small percentage of fees, while others cover 50 percent or greater. The more you or your employer pays for premiums, the better the coverage. In most cases, dental insurance covers some restorative and preventative procedures. Cosmetic treatment is not usually covered. We’ll be happy to file your insurance claim for reimbursement.
Drs. Resuta, Truan, Funt and Going Giddens and the entire staff takes more than the state’s requirement for continuing education each year. We also read trade journals, attend professional association meetings, and do everything possible to keep up to date with the latest developments in general and cosmetic dentistry, as well as dental technology. Drs. Resuta, Truan, Funt and Going are actively involved in the prestigious Spear Study Club of Atlanta and have completed hundreds of hours in post-graduate continuing education at facilities like the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry and the Seattle Study Club.
You’ll need to first schedule an appointment with one of our doctors. They can assess your oral health and discuss options for replacement teeth. In general, you can choose from crown and bridgework, dentures, or dental implants. Because dental implants restore the tooth and the root, they are the clear choice for tooth replacement. When working with our surgical colleagues, Drs. Resuta, Truan, Funt and Going Giddens can place and restore implants in a single visit with the revolutionary procedures like All-on-4 Dental Implants/New Teeth in One Day.
The Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry sections of the website give detailed explanations of procedures like these. You can also visit our Cosmetic Gallery to view photos of our actual patients before and after treatment. If you have questions about these or other dental procedures, don’t hesitate to call us. We would be happy to explain any aspect of your dental care or our service offerings.
With innovative CEREC technology, we can create custom crowns, bridges, inlays, and onlays in our office. This means that you get custom-made, porcelain restorations made in one visit. No temporary. No impressions. No follow-up visit. It’s that simple.
While we are trained and equipped to handle many dental issues in our office, when a specialist would better serve you, we’ll refer. Dental specialties include oral surgeons, periodontists (supporting structures), endodontists (root canals), orthodontists, and pedodontists (for children). We refer to only trusted professionals who are exceptionally skilled in their field.
Yes. We know that the finest compliment that anyone can give our office is the referral of a new patient. We appreciate your confidence in us and look forward to extending the same comprehensive, caring service to your family, friends, and coworkers.
