Drs. Resuta, Truan, Funt and Going routinely use CEREC CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacturing) technology to fabricate permanent crowns, inlays, and onlays in one dental visit.
This revolutionary technology gives us the freedom to design and mill custom, tooth-colored restorations. Before CEREC, we took impressions, sent them to the lab, and then, weeks later, we placed the crown during a second dental visit. With CEREC, we simply take a 3D scan, create a digital model, choose the appropriate porcelain crown material, and mill the restoration while you wait. Our dentists will place your crown, inlay, or onlay that same day.
